The latest Co-op £6 frozen meal deal has changed from what you may remember! It’s always been a favourite with savvy shoppers, saving you up to 50%.

Things have changed – you might like it as there’s more choice, but I think some people will be disappointed due to the cost!

What’s happened

The current Co-op Freezer Favourites deal is not the same as the offer you may remember from previous months.

Get a free £10 bonus with Swagbucks

Earn a bit of extra money in your spare time with surveys, videos, and simple tasks you can do at home.

New users can get a £10 bonus when they sign up.

Get the £10 bonus

Instead of a fixed bundle with limited choice, this version is a flexible, mix and match deal. You can choose from a list of 15 frozen items, rather than only having five set items.

Co-op members pay £6 for the deal, while non-members pay £7. It is designed to make one easy freezer meal and is available in-store and online from 3 January to 27 January.

It can still be good if you like the items included, and it gives you more freedom, but you can only pick just three items, so it feels a lot more expensive!

Is the Co-op freezer favourites deal still worth it?

Whether this deal is worth doing depends on what you normally buy.

If you regularly pick up frozen pizzas, chips, fish or chicken from Co-op, the savings can still stack up.

If you were hoping to recreate the old deal, then this will feel a lot more expensive.

Co-op £6 frozen meal deal

The £6 Co-op Freezer Favourites deal has opened up with a set list of 15 frozen items chosen by Co-op, saving up to £4.65.

You must select three of these products for the offer to apply, and other frozen foods are not included.

The range focuses on familiar freezer staples that work well for an easy evening meal.

You can choose from items such as Birds Eye Chicken Dippers, Birds Eye Potato Waffles, McCain Home Chips Straight Cut, Dr Oetker Ristorante Mozzarella Pizza, Goodfellas Stonebaked Thin Pepperoni Pizza, Birds Eye Battered Fish Fillets, Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Grills, Young’s Admirals Pie, Young’s Chip Shop Battered Fish Fillets, Goodfellas Garlic Bread and Birds Eye Chicken Quarter Pounders.

There are also a few dessert options included.

The saving is applied automatically at the till when the qualifying items are bought together in one transaction.

The deal now available in all stores.

There is an offer running online; however, it’s not as good. Instead, you can only get three items for £6 (£7 for non members).

Get it cheaper

If you don’t have a Co-op loyalty card as yet, you can join as a member here. It costs £1 to join, but you quickly recoup your initial spend through savings.

And don’t forget, you can get 10% off the Co-op deal if you have a Young Scot card (Co-op no longer accepts a student discount with a TOTUM or NUS discount card).

This isn’t a one-off deal, and Co-op should release a new meal deal at the end of the month.

Co-op delivery

You can get Co-op online delivery and delivery via Deliveroo for loads of essentials.

There is a new year offer to kickstart 2026: free delivery when you spend more than £25, saving £1.99.

Just use the online code FD2026 at checkout. The coupon code can be used multiple times until 31 January 2026.

Not all co-op stores currently offer direct delivery, but you can get Co-op food from Deliveroo.

If you want to shop with Co-op via the Deliveroo app, you can have your food delivered in as little as 15 minutes.

Get £10 credit to spread across your next four orders with Deliveroo.

Many stores offer delivery or collection of this deal within two hours via the online shopping site.

You’d need to check by postcode, as not all stores are set up yet.
