M&S Food’s Lucky Lunch campaign has returned, and if you’re quick, you could be tucking into a free lunch worth a tenner.

From 20 August 2025 until 30 September 2025, anyone who buys one of M&S’s selected sandwiches has the chance to find a golden ticket hidden inside the packaging.

If you’re one of the lucky 30,000 winners, that ticket gets you £10 to spend on lunch in-store.

Sounds good, right? Here’s what you need to know.

How it works

  • Head to your local M&S Foodhall between 20 August and 30 September 2025.
  • Pick up one of the participating sandwich lines (wraps, rolls, baguettes and “Collection” sandwiches don’t count).
  • If you’re one of the lucky 30,000, you’ll find a golden ticket inside the packaging.
  • Take your winning ticket to the tills, choose your lunch from the Food to Go section, and enjoy up to £10 worth of food and drink for free.

It’s basically the grown-up version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, only with BLTs, hoisin wraps and protein bars instead of chocolate.

Skint Dad says:

With meal deals creeping up in price everywhere, a free £10 lunch from M&S is a solid little win, especially if you’ve got a few hungry mouths to feed or fancy treating yourself without feeling guilty.

Keep an eye out for those golden tickets because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Key dates and small print

  • Promotion runs: 20 August 2025 – 30 September 2025
  • Where: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey
  • Excludes: M&S BP and other selected franchise locations
  • Minimum spend: Your £10 voucher needs to be used in one go and only on food and drink from the Foodhall
  • Other T&C: Check them all out here

What’s on the menu

If you do win, you’ll have loads of lunch options to spend your £10 on, including:

  • Classic sarnies like chicken tikka, BLT and cheese & celery
  • Wraps and baguettes including hoisin duck, chicken Caesar, mozzarella & pesto
  • Sushi favourites like the salmon & avocado dragon roll and miso mushroom dragon roll
  • Snacks like cookies & cream protein bars, brain balls, or even a cheeky loaded chicken Caesar dipper
  • Drinks from smoothies and juices to vitamin water

If you’ve ever wandered past the M&S lunch aisle, you’ll know it’s not cheap. So this could be a nice little win for your wallet.

And, in other news, have you seen that Tesco has hiked the price of their meal deal?!
