Before your young bakers go back to school, head to the kitchen and try one of these 9 One-Bowl Baking Recipes to Make Before School Starts. Grab your mixing bowl and whip up a giant double chocolate cookie, a batch of rice krispie treats, or any of the easy 1-bowl recipes here. It’s also a handy list for when you want to bake without creating a pile of dishes in the process!

9 One-Bowl Baking Recipes to Make Before School Starts

If your plans ever include some special time in the kitchen with your aspiring young bakers, make the most of your time (and sanity!) with these 9 One-Bowl Baking Recipes. You certainly don’t need a pile of dishes to add to your busy to-do list!

Little mess, big reward. 🙂

This list includes several healthier favorites, like quinoa crunch snack bars and peanut butter banana chocolate chip oatmeal bars. Both are great for snacks or even a lighter breakfast. Or try this flavorful banana baked oatmeal for a quick yet satisfying start to the day. Bonus—it keeps and reheats wonderfully for breakfast all week long!

P.S.: I also have recipes for regular baked oatmeal, apple cinnamon baked oatmeal cups, and chocolate chip baked oatmeal cups. All 1-bowl recipes as well!

If your sweet tooth is calling, try my Nutella brownies or peanut butter blondies. Both come together in one bowl with a few basic ingredients, so they go from mixing bowl to oven in a snap.

A quality set of mixing bowls is a staple in any baker’s kitchen, and I’m happy to recommend my favorites. I own and love this set of 10 glass mixing bowls and this set of 3 stainless steel mixing bowls. A silicone spatula, sturdy wooden spoon, and whisk are also helpful to have on hand. Not sponsored, just products I use on a near daily basis!

Which of these 1-bowl recipes will you try before school starts?
